SRI’s next auction, taking place on Sept 25, will feature a three-bedroom duplex penthouse at the luxurious freehold development Nassim Jade. August saw no auction sales for SRI. Now, with the beginning of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, it is expected that the lower guide price will reignite interest in the property.

According to Mok Sze Sze, managing partner of auctions and sales at SRI, the duplex penthouse is likely to appeal to owner-occupiers looking for a prime location. The property offers a serene environment, while being within a convenient walking distance to amenities and dining options along the famous Orchard shopping belt.

Last year, Nassim Jade had only one transaction, with the sale of a 5,748 sq ft, five-bedroom penthouse unit for $7.8 million ($2,644 psf) in November. The project has seen an average of one resale transaction annually over the past three years.

The fourth-floor unit, with its 3,003 sq ft of space, comes with a guide price of $8.8 million.
