Sky Vue Achieves New High 2366 Psf

Sky Vue in Singapore’s District 20 has achieved a new record for psf-price when a 1,141 sq ft three-bedroom unit changed hands for $2.7 million on Aug 22. This translates to $2,366 psf, surpassing its previous record of $2,225 psf from the sale of a similar-sized unit for $2.54 million. The seller of the 14th-floor unit made a profit of $1 million, having purchased it for $1.7 million ($1,490 psf) in January 2018. The 694-unit condo, completed in 2016, has a total of 19 resale transactions this year at an average price of $2,104 psf.

Located along Bishan Street 15, Sky Vue is a 99-year leasehold development comprising two 37-storey towers with units ranging from one-bedroom to three-bedroom units, from 484 sq ft to 1,259 sq ft. This is just 0.2% higher than the previous record of $2,161 psf, which was set by the resale of a 2,013 sq ft, three-bedroom unit on the 11th floor in April 2022.

Located along Cairnhill Circle in Newton, The Promont is a freehold boutique development with 15 units ranging from 2,013 sq ft to 2,077 sq ft. It is near Anglo-Chinese School (Junior) at Winstedt Road.

On the other hand, freehold boutique development Liv on Sophia achieved a record low of $1,689 psf when a 710 sq ft, two-bedroom unit was sold for $1.2 million on Aug 22. The unit was previously sold for $1.28 million ($1,888 psf) in June 2021, resulting in a loss of $256,000 for the seller who had bought it from the developer for $1.54 million ($2,265 psf) in June 2013.
