During his speech, Minister Faishal emphasized the importance of agents in assisting clients with the complex real estate market and safeguarding their interests. He urged agents to speak out against unethical practices and fraudulent listings, which can harm the reputation of the real estate industry. This sentiment was echoed by Adam Wang, president of SEAA, who noted that there has been a significant increase in the number of agencies participating in the awards this year.
According to Wang, the awards not only recognize the achievements of agents, but also help build consumer trust and promote a positive image of the industry. He also highlighted SEAA’s efforts in supporting agents through initiatives such as a memorandum of understanding on best practices for co-broking commissions, and regularly updating their Continuing Professional Development courses to align with market needs.
In conclusion, Wang reiterated SEAA’s dedication to equipping their members with the latest technology tools and knowledge to stay ahead in the industry, no matter the market conditions.
