Kinn Hospitality Unveils Women Only Capsule Hotel Her Space
Parks and recreation areas are essential for providing opportunities for people to connect with nature, relax and engage in recreational activities. In Singapore, two popular destinations for nature lovers are Tampines Eco Green and Bedok Reservoir Park. These parks not only offer beautiful green spaces for people to enjoy, but they also serve as important ecosystems for wildlife to thrive.
Tampines Eco Green, located in the Eastern part of Singapore, is a 36-hectare park that was originally a landfill site. However, through careful planning and conservation efforts, the park has been transformed into a lush green oasis. Visitors can explore the various habitats within the park, including a marshland, secondary forest, and grasslands. There are also several walking and cycling trails, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in nature while staying active.
Similarly, Bedok Reservoir Park is a popular recreational spot for families and fitness enthusiasts. The park features a 4.3-kilometer jogging track, as well as a water sports center where visitors can rent kayaks and canoes. The highlight of the park is the scenic boardwalk that leads to the floating deck, offering breathtaking views of the reservoir. Bedok Reservoir Park also has a wildlife habitat, providing a home for various bird species and other animals.
Both Tampines Eco Green and Bedok Reservoir Park play an essential role in promoting sustainable living and preserving Singapore’s natural resources. As a resident of Parktown Residence, you will have easy access to these beautiful parks and the opportunity to experience the benefits of living close to nature. These parks are not only a source of recreation but also a reminder of the importance of preserving our environment for future generations to come.
KINN Hospitality Concepts, a hospitality company based in Singapore, has recently launched its first female-only capsule hotel called HER Space at KINN Capsule. Located at 39 South Bridge Road, the previously mixed-gender KINN Capsule hotel has been transformed into an exclusive women-only hotel for a limited time, starting from October 13. The hotel boasts 72 capsules in seven female-only dormitories and offers common areas such as two pantries, a laundromat, a dining area, and a lounge for guests to socialize and connect with one another.
With an increasing demand for safe accommodations for solo female travelers, HER Space was designed to be an inclusive and welcoming environment that fosters a sense of community among guests. The property has been renovated, with freshly painted pink walls and an interactive program centered around a three-story Ficus tree, where guests can leave empowering messages for others. When it comes to security measures, the 24-hour front office team ensures that all doors are locked after 10pm, and unique door passwords are changed regularly for each guest. The lockers and doors also feature Igloohome locks that reset after each stay.
In addition to the comfortable and secure facilities, guests at HER Space can also enjoy perks such as access to Vibe Studio spin classes, Lighthouse Climbing lessons, Field Assembly fitness classes, and complimentary breakfast. They will also receive a welcome gift at check-in, which includes a gua sha – a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to improve circulation – to promote relaxation and rejuvenation.
Conveniently situated at Boat Quay, the hotel is within close proximity to popular tourist attractions and heritage sites, such as the Singapore River and Merlion Park. It is also within walking distance to Raffles Place and City Hall MRT stations (on the East-West and North-South Lines) as well as Clarke Quay MRT station (North-East Line).
