Accor Partners Fragrance Group And Global Premium Hotels Open Three New Singapore Properties

Accor, a leading global hospitality company, has recently announced a partnership with Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels to open two new properties that will house three hotels. The agreement states that all three hotels will be fully operational by 2027.

The first property will be located at Hoe Chiang Road and will be home to the largest Mövenpick hotel in the Asia Pacific region. This 808-key hotel will offer luxurious accommodations to guests and will also feature Mövenpick Living Singapore, a 37-key accommodation option for travellers seeking extended stays.

The second property, situated at Waterloo Street, will be the location of a new hotel under the Handwritten Collection brand. This 502-key hotel is the second of its kind in Singapore, following the launch of Hotel Faber Park Singapore – Handwritten Collection in late 2023.

According to Garth Simmons, COO of Accor’s premium, midscale and economy division in Asia, “This signing not only demonstrates the strong demand for Accor’s brands, but also reinforces our commitment to leading the region’s growth and redefining the future of hospitality in Asia.”

The partnership between Accor and Fragrance Group and Global Premium Hotels, both owned by Koh Wee Meng, currently has a portfolio of 17 hotels in Singapore, five in Australia, and three in the UK. These hotels fall under various brands such as MGallery, Mövenpick, Novotel, Mercure, Handwritten Collection, ibis Styles, and ibis Budget.

Koh Wee Meng, chairman of Fragrance Group, also stated, “These new properties will allow us to continue providing our guests with enriching experiences and further expand our diverse hospitality offerings in Singapore.” This partnership has shown a strong commitment to delivering high-quality and unique hotel experiences to guests, and the addition of these new properties will only further enhance that commitment.
