Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho has recently opened its doors in the vibrant Sheung Wan District, marking the debut of the Motto brand in the Asia Pacific region. The 274-room hotel is the latest addition to Hilton’s growing portfolio of luxury and lifestyle properties in the region.
This opening is part of Hilton’s strategy to expand its presence in the Asia Pacific market. Earlier this year, the company opened its first Waldorf Astoria property in Osaka and Curio Collection hotel in China’s Shandong Province. With the addition of Motto by Hilton Hong Kong Soho, Hilton now boasts over 160 luxury and lifestyle properties in the region.
The success of this brand in the Asia Pacific region has led to further growth and excitement in the year ahead. Several new properties are scheduled to open, including Waldorf Astoria hotels in Bali and Shanghai, with the former becoming the brand’s first property in Indonesia in 2027. Other highly anticipated openings in the next 12 months include NoMad Singapore and Canopy by Hilton Makati in the Philippines.
Looking even further ahead, there are plans in place for more luxury properties, including seven Waldorf Astoria hotels in Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Sydney, Xi’an, Tokyo, Delhi, and Bali. The Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand is also set to expand to Jaipur, Kuala Lumpur, Nagoya, Bangkok, and China.
