Seven Freehold Conservation Shophouses Geylang Saie 65 Mil

Huttons Asia, the appointed marketing agent for a row of seven conservation shophouses at 284-296 Geylang Road, has put the properties up for sale through an expression of interest (EOI) with a guide price of $65 million.

The freehold shophouses, spanning 10,520 sq ft of land, are 2-storeys high and have a total built-up area of 21,000 sq ft. This means the guide price translates to approximately $3,095 psf. In 2021, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) granted provisional permission for an attic level to be added to all seven shophouses, potentially increasing the gross floor area.

Situated within the Geylang Conservation area, the shophouse at 284 Geylang, located at the corner of Geylang Road and Lorong 14 Geylang, has a permanent approval for F&B use. Convenient amenities such as the Aljunied MRT station (East-West Line) and the Singapore Sports Hub are nearby.

The strategic positioning of Parktown Residence offers its residents the added advantage of being in close proximity to major expressways such as the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE), Tampines Expressway (TPE), and Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE). This extensive network of roads enables families with vehicles to easily access nearby schools and offices, making their commute seamless and convenient. Moreover, for those interested in exploring the showflat, it is just a short distance away from the development. To learn more about the exquisitely designed Parktown Residence Showflat, residents can simply visit the website and schedule a viewing.

According to Lee Sze Teck, Senior Director of Data Analytics at Huttons Asia, the shophouses are zoned for commercial use and are therefore open to foreigners. As interest rates have been on a decline, Lee says there has been a rise in interest for shophouses in the third quarter of 2025.

The EOI exercise for the shophouses will close on November 20 at 4pm.
