Huttons Asia, a local property agency, is partnering with OneMillionTrees and the Garden City Fund to raise a target amount of $60,000 through its inaugural Huttons x OneMillionTrees Sustainability Walk event. This was announced at the Huttons Gala Awards on April 8, with Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and National Development, as the guest of honour.
The event is set to take place on July 7, with tickets currently on sale and early-bird discounts available until May 31. Proceeds from the walk will go towards the Garden City Fund, a registered charity established by NParks to support the OneMillionTrees movement, which aims to plant one million trees on the island by 2030.
Huttons CEO Mark Yip shared, “Being a part of the Huttons family is not all real estate work; there are plenty of corporate welfare collaborations with other brands, sports activities, and community engagement events.”
The real estate agency has been supporting the movement since 2020 through its Plant-A-Tree programme and has raised over $40,000 for the fund to date.
“We are grateful to Huttons for supporting the Plant-A-Tree programme,” says Leo Tan, Garden City Fund chairman. “Their support will serve as an inspiring example to encourage others to join us in realising our vision of becoming a City in Nature.”
