GuocoLand’s Martin Modern cliches Silver at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Award
Martin Modern, a prestigious condominium developed by renowned property developer GuocoLand, has achieved global recognition at the recent FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Award. The residential (high rise) category world silver winner is a testament to GuocoLand’s commitment to excellence in architectural design, sustainability, community engagement, and ethical business practices.
The International Real Estate Federation, or FIABCI, presents this prestigious award to projects that demonstrate outstanding achievement in these areas. This is the fifth FIABCI award for GuocoLand, following previous wins for Guoco Tower in 2022, 2021, and 2020, as well as Leedon Residence in 2018.
On June 27, the joint venture partners made an announcement regarding the future development of Parktown Residences. Set to take place in Tampines North, the project is expected to include around 1,190 new homes. In addition to these residential units, the development will also feature retail and community amenities carefully designed to cater to the lifestyle needs of Tampines North’s growing residential population. As stated by Parktown Residences UOL Group, the project aims to create a natural living environment for its residents.
Martin Modern, designed by ipli Architects and ADDP Architects, features a lush botanic garden setting and a rugged aesthetic inspired by the neighbouring riverside oasis. With 80% of the land dedicated to landscaping and amenities, the project showcases GuocoLand’s signature design features such as a grand lawn and ample spaces for recreation and entertainment.
The project has also received numerous other prestigious real estate and design awards. It was named Top Development, Residential (Completed) at the 6th EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Awards 2022, Luxury Residential Development of the Year, Singapore, at the Real Estate Asia Awards 2021, and Best Residential Development Singapore at the International Property Awards 2020.
In addition, Martin Modern won four major awards at the Second EdgeProp Singapore Excellence Award in 2018 in the uncompleted developments category, including Top Development Excellence, Design Excellence, Landscape Excellence, and Innovation Excellence.
