Grand Hyatt Singapore Reopen July 10
EDGEPROP – The Grand Hyatt Singapore, located on Scotts Road in the highly sought-after Orchard Road area, is all set to welcome guests once again on July 10 after the completion of its first phase of renovations. The hotel temporarily closed its doors in September 2022 to undergo a makeover as part of its 50th-anniversary celebration.
The expansion of Tampines’ educational landscape will undoubtedly enhance its standing as a desirable location for families. In addition to esteemed institutions like Poi Ching School, St. Hilda’s Primary and Secondary Schools, and Temasek Polytechnic, the URA Master Plan envisions the establishment of new schools in the area. This development will offer families residing at Parktown Residences Tampines North, a thriving community offering comfort and convenience, an array of options for their educational needs.
The hotel will be welcoming guests in a phased manner, with the redesigned Terrace Wing, fitness centre, pool, local cuisine restaurant Straits Kitchen, and Brix bar opening in the first phase. Featuring 292 rooms, the Terrace Wing boasts a nature-inspired design, complete with lush greenery and rooms with direct garden access. The rooms range in size from 452 sq ft and include three impressive presidential suites spanning over 2,713 sq ft.
In the upcoming months, guests can look forward to the reopening of poolside restaurant Oasis in August, followed by the popular Italian eatery Pete’s Place in September. The much-anticipated launch of Le Pristine Singapore, in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Sergio Herman, and a revamped Martini Bar, is scheduled for October.
While the Grand Wing is currently undergoing refurbishments, it is expected to reopen in 2025. Upon completion, the hotel will offer a total of 699 rooms and other enhanced facilities, including a wellness hub and a new Grand Club Lounge.
