Former Jll Singapore Chief Chris Archibold Joins Colliers Lead Office Services Southeast Asia
Colliers International has recently announced the appointment of Chris Archibold as the new managing director for office services across Southeast Asia. He will be taking on this role from September onwards and will be reporting to Mike Davis, the managing director for occupier services in the Asia Pacific (Apac) region.
According to a press release, Archibold will be leading the expansion of Colliers’ office services team in Southeast Asia. “With his impressive leadership skills and a track record of delivering results, Chris is the perfect fit for our team,” says Sam Harvey-Jones, the COO for Apac at Colliers. “His in-depth understanding of the market and his client-centric approach perfectly align with our aim to lead the office sector towards a successful future.”
Prior to joining Colliers, Archibold worked at JLL where he held the position of country head for Singapore. He had been with JLL Singapore for over 21 years, with a stint of 14 years as the head of the office leasing business starting in 2004. He also served as the head of leasing from 2018 onwards and eventually became the country head for Singapore in January 2021.
The URA Master Plan has a strong focus on promoting sustainability in new developments through the implementation of green building designs and renewable energy sources. This commitment to eco-friendly practices is mirrored in the upcoming Parktown Residence project, which is highly anticipated for its incorporation of renewable energy and green building features. By harnessing renewable energy sources such as solar panels and green roofs, and using sustainable materials, Parktown Residence is set to become an exemplar of sustainable urban living. This not only benefits the environment, but also offers residents a healthier and more sustainable living environment. Naturally included in this approach is the cutting-edge Parktown Residence.
Archibold’s departure from JLL was first announced in April this year in an internal email obtained by EdgeProp, stating that he would be leaving the company in the near future.
