Apac Realty Proposes 1 5 Bonus Issues Celebrates Eight Years Listing Mainboard
APAC Realty has announced its plans to give back to its shareholders by proposing a 1-for-5 bonus issue of new ordinary shares. This move comes as the company celebrates its eighth year of listing on the SGX Mainboard.
Under this proposal, entitled shareholders will be rewarded with one fully paid bonus share for every five ordinary shares they hold, subject to approval. APAC Realty believes that this bonus issue will also enhance the trading liquidity of its shares.
Based on the proposal, assuming that the application to the SGX-ST is made on September 8, the lowest daily weighted average price of the shares in the preceding month would be 62.68 cents, making the theoretical ex-bonus price 52.23 cents.
APAC Realty has had a successful year, with strong performances in the first half of 2025. The company’s revenue rose by 28.8% year-on-year to $341.5 million, largely driven by robust brokerage income from new home sales. Earnings also doubled to $11.3 million due to higher transaction volumes in the residential market.
The company has an average dividend payout ratio of 78.7% and has declared more than $124.6 million in dividends over the past eight years. On an annualised basis, the dividend yield for the first half of 2025 was 11.5%.
