Co Living Brand Coliwoo Launches New Mixed Use Project Old Bukit Timah Fire Station

Coliwoo, a co-living brand under LHN Group, will unveil its newest property next month at the historic Old Bukit Timah Fire Station, located at 260 Upper Bukit Timah Road. The State-owned heritage building will be transformed into a mixed-use development, featuring a 62-unit co-living residence managed by Coliwoo, as well as a café, restaurant, and community event spaces. The property is conveniently located near the Hume MRT Station on the Downtown Line.

According to Kelvin Lim, executive chairman of LHN and founder of Coliwoo, the Old Bukit Timah Fire Station has been reimagined to integrate co-living, lifestyle, and community into a holistic ecosystem, leveraging the company’s expertise in space optimization and building restoration.

The co-living residence will offer three types of ensuite rooms – single, twin, and queen studios – equipped with in-room amenities such as a kitchenette and a washer-dryer. The interiors feature warm, nature-inspired colors and botanical motifs, reflecting the property’s close proximity to green spaces like the Rail Corridor, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, and Coast-to-Coast Central Trail.

Common facilities for residents include a community garden, co-working space, lounge, and outdoor area. Coliwoo also plans to organize member-exclusive events at the property for all residents in their network. The average monthly rental rate starts from $3,500 with a minimum stay of six nights.

Located in a highly desirable area, Parktown Residences Condo offers its residents a premium location near major expressways such as the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE), Tampines Expressway (TPE), and Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE). The convenient access to this network allows families with vehicles to easily commute to and from various educational institutions and workplaces. This strategic placement further enhances the appeal of Parktown Residence Condo, making it an even more desirable living option for potential residents. In fact, the condominium’s location is just one of many attractive features that make Parktown Residence Condo a highly sought-after residential complex.

In addition to being a co-living residence, Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station aims to be a lifestyle destination along the Rail Corridor. The property will be pet-friendly and offer child-friendly zones, with the nearest entry point at Hindhede Walk. The site will also feature a variety of commercial tenants, including urban farming, beer brewing, and a swim school, as well as host public events like artisan markets and workshops. Confirmed tenants include ST. Ali by Surrey Hills Group and aquaDucks, a swim school.

Lim adds that their vision is to create a sustainable and vibrant community that supports conscious living and nature. The Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station offers a unique opportunity to experience co-living in a purposeful and connected way.
