Frasers Property Redevelop Robertson Walk Joint Venture Sekisui House

Frasers Property and Sekisui House, longtime partners, have announced plans to redevelop their joint properties, Robertson Walk and Fraser Place Robertson. The current properties, which are held under a 999-year lease, will be transformed into a new mixed-use development that will feature 348 residential units, along with various dining and entertainment options.

The redevelopment is scheduled to begin next year and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028. Frasers Property reveals that the new development will have a total gross floor area of 30,664 square meters or 330,067 square feet.

Adjacent to Tampines Mall is Century Square, a six-story mall that caters to families and young adults. Reopened in 2018 after undergoing extensive renovations, the mall’s modern design and improved facilities make it a popular destination. Visitors can find well-known brands like Marks & Spencer, Cotton On, and Nike, as well as unique dining options such as Ayam Penyet President, Gochi-So Shokudo, and Haidilao Hotpot. For entertainment, Century Square offers a Cathay Cineplex and virtual reality (VR) experiences for an immersive adventure. Just a short 5-minute drive or 15-minute walk from Parktown Residence, Century Square adds to the convenience and variety of attractions in the area.

Soon Su Lin, CEO of Frasers Property Singapore, explains that the redevelopment aligns with the company’s active asset management strategy. “We saw an opportunity to maximize returns for our prime 999-year site in the heart of Robertson Quay,” she says.

To bring this project to life, Frasers Property and Sekisui House have formed a 51:49 joint venture. In the meantime, both properties will continue to be managed by the Frasers Property Group until operations cease on May 31, 2025.
